Josh McCormack

www.myspace.com/joshuamccormack Josh has had a few decades on this
earth so far and now he looks to the present to leave his mark. So he writes
and sings and writes and sings some more, always seeking the wringing of the
phrase, the twisting of the hand, the ebb and flow of spectacle in song. He's
self-taught, an explorer of many instruments, a master of none, a pusher of
all. He's always on the go musically, always arranging, rearranging,
constructing, expressing. His notation is playing in his head as a film in
which all the instruments animate themselves and know precisely which tone to
sound next.

Hot or
Not once again welcomes:..
Tony and Cheryle!

http://www.tonyandcheryle.com
(songs on media player)
Tony and Cheryle are ready to treat
you to their acoustic fusion of a wide-ranging, eclectic song choices, from Tom
Petty to Alice in Chains. Come prepared for anything!
Tony and Cheryle pride themselves in being a powerhouse duo, branding
their music "Extreme Acoustic". Cheryle, Tony's wife interjects, "It's
just the two of us but we have a lot going on."
The Crown Point couple performs classic rock, a hint of blues, a bit
of alternative, and even some country thrown in the mix. What sets this couple
apart is Cheryle's fierce vocals, the couple's barreling guitar rythms, and
their smooth, almost bluesy, vocal harmonies. Tony and Cheryle's guitars, like
their voices, mesh, like they have been playing together for many years.
Tony and Cheryle developed a repertoire that reflected their diverse
musical tastes- a mixture of Top 40 hits with the rock 'n' roll anthems of
their youth. Their song list includes Bad Company, Tom Petty, Melissa
Etheridge, but also the tunes of The Beatles, the Eagles, and Bob Dylan. They
opened up a generation gap with their covers of Alice in Chains, Staind, and
Sheryl Crow. They'll even surprise audiences with their own passionate
original tunes.
The duo recently finished recording their first CD titled
"Abandoned", and will be showcasing some of the tunes at Hot or Not!.
If you like having a great time, and enjoy "extreme" acoustic music,
they hope you'll come out to one the show. And to all of their loyal
fans.....a million thank-you's for all your support!

The Diggity
http://www.myspace.com/diggityfunk
http://www.thediggity.net
A five-piece Progressive Funk jam band, carrying a
sound like no one else on earth, The Diggity will captivate your mind with
their creative song writing, unique instrumentals, and their mind altering
twisted creation of funk.
The
Diggity has been hard at work for the past few months building a nice list of
new material. Recording of all this new material will begin in the not too
distant future. Free Live Tracks will be available whenever the quality is
worth listening to. Watch the myspace for live recordings from the past to the
present.
Reminiscent of the Grateful Dead in their sound and
style, The Diggity has a relaxed sound that makes me think they are
probably jamming through a lot of their music, which is not a bad thing
because for these guys, it sounds easy.
With only four songs to go on, it's hard to get a real grasp on the band,
but their music is a self-described "Blues-funkrock," that is sparse on
vocals and big on ethereal, retro sounds. The Diggity would do well as an
opener or club band. Bootlegs, anyone?
